Privacy Policy
DeepScope Inc. (“DeepScope”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we process, why, for how long, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our website at deepscope.io and to any DeepScope app that links to it.
1. Who we are
DeepScope Inc. is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
- Address: A1305, 135 Jeongjail-ro, Bundang-gu Seongnam, Gyeonggi 13560 South Korea
- Email: deepscope@deepscope.io
2. Information we process
When you visit this website. The website has no accounts, forms, cookies, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts, and its fonts and images are served from deepscope.io itself. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, our hosting provider automatically processes standard request data: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser type (user agent), and the referring page. We do not combine this data with other information or use it to identify you.
When you email us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message and any attachments.
DeepScope apps. As of the effective date of this policy, no DeepScope app collects personal information. Before any DeepScope app collects personal information, we will update this policy to describe what that app collects, why, how long it is kept, and whom it is shared with — and the app’s App Store listing will disclose the same.
3. How we use it
We use personal information only to:
- respond to your inquiry and keep a record of our correspondence;
- deliver the website and keep it secure and available; and
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you.
4. Legal basis
We process personal information where it is necessary to respond to a request you make, where we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing our website, or where the law requires it. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it and you may withdraw it at any time.
5. Service providers and transfers outside Korea
We do not provide personal information to third parties except where the law requires it. We use the following service providers, who process personal information on our behalf under contract and only on our instructions:
| Provider | What they do for us | Information | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Google Workspace) | Receives and stores email sent to deepscope.io addresses | Email address, name, message content | United States and other countries where Google operates |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Hosts and delivers this website | IP address, request details, browser type | United States and other countries where Cloudflare operates |
These transfers happen over the network at the moment you email us or visit the website, and are necessary to provide what you asked for. Each provider keeps the information only as long as needed for the work above or as its law requires. You can avoid the email transfer by writing to us by post at the address above. Google LLC and Cloudflare, Inc. can be contacted through their published privacy contacts.
6. How long we keep it
- Correspondence: until your inquiry is resolved, and then for up to three years so we can refer back to it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
- Website request data: we do not receive or keep these records ourselves. The hosting provider keeps them only for the limited period needed for delivery and security.
When the retention period ends, we delete electronic records so that they cannot be restored, and shred any paper records.
7. Your rights
You may ask us at any time to give you access to, correct, delete, or stop processing your personal information, or to withdraw consent you have given. Email deepscope@deepscope.io; a representative may also make the request for you. We will respond within 10 days. If the law prevents us from meeting a request, we will tell you why.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also have the right to data portability and to object to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies or use similar technologies such as local storage, tracking pixels, or device fingerprinting. There is nothing to opt out of.
9. How we protect information
All traffic to this website is encrypted with HTTPS. We limit access to personal information to the people who need it to do their work, and protect the accounts that hold it with strong authentication, including two-factor authentication.
10. Children
Our website and apps are not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
